About Me: Why I Made This Web Site & How You Can Contact Me
My name is Jeanna Mielcarek and I attend UW Colleges. I created this web site in December of 2008 for a consciousness-raising project that I am doing for Dr. Williams' Women's Studies class. I made this site because I am an abolitionist and I am passionate about doing what ever I can to combat slavery. I hope that one day people will not have to suffer under trafficking, and that everyone is guaranteed the fundamental human rights that they deserve. It is up to each and every one of us to become anti-slavery advocates, so that we can make a difference in the lives of individuals around the world. I hope you will join me in my mission, and become determined to spread awareness on the realities of modern-day slavery.
